Ben Uri, The London Jewish Museum of Art is proud
to present a very special exhibition at Osborne
Samuel Gallery in Bruton Street from the 8 to 31
January 2010.
The unveiling of a lost Chagall adds unexpected drama to a
long planned exhibition of some 40 masterworks from the
Museum collection as the launch of Ben Uri’s 2010 campaign
to find and fund c20,000 sq feet in the heart of Central London
where this important public collection belongs.
Adler, Auerbach, Bomberg, Chagall, Epstein, Gertler, Herman,
Kitaj, Kossoff, Kramer, Levy, Liebermann, Meninsky, Pissarro,
Rosenberg, Solomon, Wolmark and Woodrow all exhibited as
contemporary artists at Ben Uri during the Museum’s
illustrious 95 year history.
